Buy locally before organic. What good is organic if it has to travel thousands of miles? @

Put plants in your office or at home. They purify the air and brighten up a room! @

Want to buy green? Buy less! We have to reduce! Why buy 50,000 of something when you only need one? @

Make a GOOS bin (Good On One Side), for used sheets, for your printer, at home and at work, then use these sheets to print. @

Give life to something old, buy used! And save something from going into a landfill! @

Fix leaks immediately! 5000 litres of our precious water is wasted every year, from leaking taps. @

If you turn down your thermostat by just 1 degree, this could save you 10% on your heating bill! If you are cold, wear warmer cloths! @

Bring your batteries, cell phones and other electronics, to get recycled instead of throwing them away, and keep them away from landfills! @

Walk, bike, roller-blade (and get fit at the same time), take the bus, carpool, etc. and leave your car at home as often as you can. @

Use scrap paper to write notes on. Ex: envelopes & letters you get from the mail, sheets of paper you've printed on but don't use anymore. @
