To eliminate as much possible unnecessary plastic wrapping of any kind, i.e. using containers in my lunch instead of sandwich bags.

Compost what you can even in the winter. My neighbor in the winter will put her compost in a bag and in the spring put it into the bin.
After doing the dishes save your dish water and pour it around your foundations.This keeps earwigs and other bugs from entering.LessChemical.
My simple green tip is to save as much energy as possible by turning off lights, unplug appliances, conserving water etc.
